Trying to find a quote for a member of household and after going through the first few on the MSE guide, it shows Coverbox to be the cheapest at £715.63. I'm not sure if Coverbox increase the price depending on how much the car is driven though? Don't drive myself but trying to find the cheapest quote with what's needed.

What your coverbox cover includes:
Insurer Voluntary
Excess Coverbox
Installation Theft
Tracking Protected
NCD Break
down Legal Key
Cover Gadget
Cover Total
Cost Allianz £250.00 £50.00* £26.00 tick.pngcross.pngtick.pngcross.pngcross.png£715.63 * This is a one-off cost and will NOT be repeated on renewal.

The other quotes start from over £100 more. I'm not really sure as to whether Coverbox increases price depending on how much the car is driven (such as 11pm-5pm the cost per miles jumps although the car isn't really driven then) or not. Thankful for your helpful replies.

I tried coverbox a few years back for a 2nd car that I wanted insured at minimal cost.

To my shock it came out over £2k more than my normal insurance - on the same make and model of car (we have two of them).

Thanks for your reply. Is that because of the device they install in your car? Massive jump.

No its because he is not the type of driver they want to fleece.

Restricted mileage. And they know as soon as you go over and sell you another 250 miles at £££££££ or cancel your policy.

I think someone posted and they wanted £80 for an extra 250 miles. But they wanted another 6000? Sorry only in 250 mile blocks.
    Price soon mounts up.

And you cant tell them you have not driven that far because the black box proves that you have. Brake sharply to avoid something? Could that be seen as poor driving and another reason to cancel the policy or bump up the price?
