I've already been online and reserved our seats so I'm reasonably happy that they are aware that we are flying upper class....its just the issue over the clubhouse/vroom that I wanted to clarify...
Previously we have used and enjoyed the vroom for about £20 per person (or free when we've mentioned that we're frequent virgins) and I was just expecting perhaps details of the clubhouse to be sent this time rather than vroom passes.
You dont need an invite , just turn up at lounge your name will be on the list , have a look on the virgin site for the details of the lounge
The Virgin lounge at San Fransisco was a bit of a disappointmentVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -
A quick call to Virgin would have had all this resolved by 11.15am!0

I fly virgin upper class- they are my prefered airline. Don't know about gat wick but heathrow is fab.
Look at v flyer website
At heathrow you can book drive through check in- we use purple parking and they drive is through. Straight through private security lane. Whizz through duty free and to the lounge.
It's the best part of the trip. Allow 4 hours. Beauty treatments, champagne, sauna, swimming pool, vintage video games and fabulous food. ( food on flights at night with graze menus aren't great) .
You get uc tags put on your bags and they always come off first.
You can take a guest each into upper class lounge.
Bit of celeb spotting (have to confess I never know who they are)
Magazines,redhead cocktails, haircuts
I'm going next week,we have 8 hours in the lounge- cant wait!
On the plane seats are best that face a wall - v flyer has lots of advice.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -
If you're in Upper Class you should also have a limo to/from the airport included. Phone Virgin to check and make a booking.0

It depends on what class of UC is booked, those who get that service pay a lot more for their ticket ,Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -

from Virgin Holidays FAQ's
A. The upper class upgrade offered with a Virgin Holiday does not include a chauffeur driven car service.0 -
You will have access to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at Gatwick if you are flying Upper Class. No invite is sent with the e-ticket, you will receive an invite at check-in and your names will be on a list at the reception to the lounge.
I suspect you also have passes into the Virgin Holidays v-room lounge either because you have paid for them, you are a FVC member, or more likely that you have booked a specific hotel with Virgin Holidays that included a free v-room pass.
The v-room is great but I'd use the Upper Class Clubhouse if it was me.0
