As this product will be withdrawn - how long does one have to get the on-line application to the branch?

No experience of Britannia specifically, but in similar circumstances other banks/building societies have typically allowed 10 - 14 days for deposit to arrive once you've made a successful application. I'm sure they'll tell you if you phone them 0808 156 1208 free from landlines

Just an update
Ladies on Britannia counter
- one replied no the 9pm deadline will not apply and you will not get the pre-closure rate as have been told that.
- one replied I know nothing about the on-line applications but if that is what it says then that is what should apply.
So I phoned Britannia HQ today and lady there said I should have 14 days to return the application that has been posted to me and the pre-closure rate of 4% will apply (the 3 year rate has just dropped to 3.75%).0 -

Thanks for the confirmation. I do so like it when I'm right

Brittania's 3 year fixed rate bond @ 4.0% I'm sure is run by Birmingham Midshires B Soc, just like the AA & Saga bond, the Saga one is still open but you need to be 50 or over. I went into 2 Brittania Branches 2 weeks ago with a substantial amount of money to take up the 3 year @ 4% guess what they both told me to make an appointment, both shops had just one customer in each. People complain that they cannot borrow money from banks, this is the first time I've come across a bank that does not want your money.
