Flight to Florida changed, was morning now evening.

We just got an email to say our flight was no longer taking off when scheduled and is now going to leave around 10 hours later. We had booked rooms for the night before as the original time was early hours and we didn't want to travel overnight to the airport.

We now don't need these rooms as we can travel to the airport during the day but if we cancel we dont get a refund so we're still going to use them.

Problem is, we now have hours to fill during the day, room chucking out time is 11am at the latest and the flight is now 7pmish. Any ideas? There's a few of us, all ages from young to old and we don't really want to go far from the airport (Glasgow). I don't imagine there's much to do at an airport..except wait? :rolleyes:

We've also had to change our hire car pick up time in Florida and we will now have to drive in an unfamiliar place at midnight. Not very happy and more than a little worried. How complicated is it getting out of Sanford aiport? Is it likely we will be left with whatever rubbishy car is left at the end of the day, we don't get there till 11pm? They are open at 11pm?????? (Dollar) We may also have to pay £25 to change the booking time but we're waiting to hear back about this.

I remember now why I don't go on holiday.
