    In my first job a Junior Engineer was nicknamed Slinky. He was useless at his job, but it was funny when he fell down the stairs (which he did virtually every watch)!

    I would like to point out I have never been a Junior Engineer........ nor am I useless at my job!

    So, now it's you sitting in the pub, "interviewing" people from afar..?? :D
    "Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

    So you failed the interview on: the "Attention to detail" criteria...
  • Once at an interview I was greeted in reception and the interviewer asked if I was fine to take the stairs. Not wanting to mention the fact that I was just getting over a chest infection, I agreed. We then proceeded to jog up three flights of stairs! He launched straight into the interview, oblivious to my difficult breathing. Needless to say I didn't get the job!
