I have 6yrs no claims (protected), 29yrs old, male, homeowner, partner who is learning to drive and driving an Omega V6 which is kept on my drive in Hull.
I have 3pts for a minor speeding offence (2003) and one minor reversing accident (2004) classed as my fault with no persons injured (I was reversing into a parking space when the chap behind me pulled out - reversing party always gets the blame  ).
Quote me happy (Norwich Union) have given me a renewal quote of £850 which has gone up twice in two years despite the accident been 3yrs ago and the fact I paid the claim amount in full
Budget have given me the same fully comprehensive cover for £290 :T
And best of all......Norwich Union are the underwriters for the policy taken out with Budget
And there was me thinking Norwich Union would of been very keen to keep me as a customer

Norwich Union are a funny one i think. Ive always been with them (driving for 3 years). Thier renewal is always an awful price so i use all the comparision sites and end up back with them as a new customer each time! First time round they gave me extra discount cos i still had a policy with them at the time of the quote and i was just changing vehicle.
Good drop in price though, mines due again soon so i'll see if histories repeated!I'm not lost. I'm just going the long way round.....0
