Highly recommend Sultan Gardens, have a look at Trip Advisor here http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g297555-d299108-Reviews-Sultan_Gardens_Resort-Sharm_El_Sheikh_South_Sinai_Red_Sea_and_Sinai.html. Not in UK operators brochures IIRC so try Travel Republic. We went md Jan a few years ago and would highly recommend.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Sharm is very spread out and isn't best place to walk around at night. It will be warmer mid-day than the Canaries, but probably cooler at night. Also the sun goes down at 4.30pm rather than 6pm.0

Egypt is nice, the Hilton in Sharks Bay is a good hotel, there is a place to walk to in the evenings, with shops etc.0

Ignore anyone who tells you Cape Verde - desert with pretty fringes, ok if you don't venture outside the AI hotel and don't mind being in a gated community - but windy, windy, windy. And featureless. Very oversold, I think.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

I agree. My daughter went there and said it was nothing but wind and sand!0 -
