I use the roasting bags in the halogen oven, never thought of using them in the slowcooker.I'm not that way reclined
Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0 -
I've lost my instruction manual but hope to use my halogen oven soon but now you've given me an idea how to keep it clean:)
I bought it because I heard it is easy to use and saves on energy, that's why I am now using the slow cooker(they say it's like running a light bulb)
Now I pay the gas and electric bills I am paronoid about spending money...I still have to get around to using the new combi oven I purchased."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Sorry OP for the hijack.
The halogen is used way more than the slowcooker.
From toast to a full roast the halogen scores full marks.I'm not that way reclined

Re soaking slow cooker pots.............. certainly fill the pot with whatever but never immerse in water. I discovered this the hard way:( Should have read the instructions! I had a slow cooker years and years ago and dont remember it being a problem then! Anyway now usea DW and it always comes out fine in there:)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I think this only applies to the older type which does not have a removable inner pot. If it can be removed then immersing is fine.Slimming World at target0
