OneTel - Question

I signed up last week to OneTel's Leisure UK Talk offer (free evening and weekend calls for 12 months plus £20)

I'm now waiting for BT to initiate CPS

I understand that until this happens I am on UK Standard Talk (free weekend calls and evening calls costing 5p) as long as I dial an access number.

But when I check my unbilled calls online I see that I'm having some horrendously expensive calls listed for Saturday / Sunday calls - some 30p (compared to 18866 - 2p)

Do OneTel sort this out before they send their first bill?

Hi jferguson

The CPS registration process can take up to 15 days, as you probably have been advised, but the bit that gets your tel. no. registered onto the OneTel system is usually effected within 36 hours, so from that point you should be able to make calls thro' OneTel using their indirect code 1877 (or 1878 for original registrations) or plugging in one of their PhonePals.

If it doesn't seem to be working I suggest you tel. OneTel's Customer Service Centre and explain the problem. See my earlier post re. OneTel 0800 no's.

Have they put you on InternationalTalk?

Until Ontel have you on there system as using them as your CPS you will pay their standard rates if using the overide code
