in Credit cards
Got accepted in principle for the select CC on Friday, direct debit is showing on my flex account today (Wed) which I take to mean that it's accepted properly. This is my first 0% card so apologies if I sound stupid.
1. When can I expect the CC account to appear on my online banking?
2. Can I do a balance transfer online from wife's CC? If not, do I have to call them up and would they ask me if it's my own card?
3. Does the BT fee (3.1%) get added to the statement immediately, does it count as a purchase or do I need to pay it right away?
4. A bit confused about how much I should be paying each month to avoid interest. The min repayment is £25 or 1%. If I spent £1000 in the first month, does this mean £10 goes to purchases and £15 to the BT, or is it £25 to the purchases?
5. What happens after the 12 month 0% on purchases ends? I would try to transfer it to another 0%, but would the purchases be transferred first so I still pay 0% for 20 months on the old BT? And if I can't get another 0% card, do I just pay off my purchases in full, or do I now need to pay £25 towards the BT each month as well?
Thanks.
