Glitch BOOTS Sun Tan Lotion B1G5F!!

Hi,
I confirm that the glitch is working today at Whetstone branch. I bought SPF 50+ 75ml located in the mini toiletries (i.e. for hand luggage) section. I believe it was included in both the 3 for 2 mini toiletries and also in the BOGOF offer for all Soltan products hence the cockup.

After I paid, the SA immediately consulted with his manager about the product. But they can't stop me as the transaction had taken place, but they do have every right to stop the sale of products prior to cash/card/boots points being taken as payment.

Lastly, who pays £5.49 for 75ml of suncream?

In the halifax branch today, they have a sign on the till saying suncream (handwritten sign) in question is Buy 1 get 2 free.

I swallowed it and got 6 for £10.50 but I would've preferred the deal to kick in properly mind you.

Never mind. Good luck to all those who have stores who haven't updated their tills.

Didn't work for me, just went through at bogof, so I had to cancel transaction, she offered to check it all....suddenly dd was desperate for the toilet..;)

Thanks for this :j bought 6 bottles of the kids 75ml factor 50 today for £3.99 sa was gobsmacked!! very handy as just used up my last bottle this week!! Lovley handy sized bottles for taking to school/nursery/keeping in changing bag well chuffed

had loads left in colchester boots, also had them on the stand by the tills.

Got 6 today for £3.99, was told it will be fixed tonight so check 1st tomorrow SA said it was advertised on daybreak?

But must agree with others - who would pay £4 to £6 for 50 and 75ml in the first place ???

I think Suntan manufacturers have missed a trick by not producing a 100ml bottle - to comply with hand luggage rules on planes.
There must be hundreds of thousands of people who take cheap flights and only take hand luggage. Surprised Boots etc have not seized the opportunity.

If no reports of it working I will go and try it but won't be for an hour or two. We have no self service tills either so I'll have to find a nice sa (hopefully some Saturday staff!)
