k well your biggest problem with updating your graphics card is going to be your power delivery as i guess you system will not have more headroom to allow for a extra power draw over and above whats provided through the PCI-E socket however

http://www.ebuyer.com/265231-gainward-gt-520-1gb-ddr3-dvi-i-hdmi-vga-pci-e-graphics-card-426018336-2142 should be fine as it doesnt appear to require a further power connector, also has the added bonus of being more powerful that the 8500gt you currently have

amd side of things probably something liek this

edit next thing to check is physical size however the ones linked i would expect to be ok just double check before buying
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

    8600/ 8800 are old!!! Don't get those!!
Your motherboard with G33, it has onboard VGA. You should be able to use your PC in general.

I suggest you could go for AMD 6670 if you can spend £55 (and provided your PSU can take it)
