Who does Third Party Liability Dog Insurance for holidays abroad

Hi,
I am looking to change pet insurance. MoreThan have been hiking my premiums to about double what I would pay as a new customer. Apart from feeling genuinely ripped off, I have to change my dogs this week or I will end up either not getting cover for them with a new insurer (due to age) or not being able to afford their insurance after the renewal date.
Many insurance policies seem to include cover for holidays abroad, however, upon enquiry I keep finding out that this does not include Thrid Party cover while on holiday abroad!
Pets at Home and the Kennel Club do include third party cover abroad, but their policies seem to be designed for extremly wealthy people.
I have now resorted to trying to find a Pet Travel Insurance to buy as a stand alone product, but search engines don't come up with any companies that would offer them.

Maybe someone knows insurers that include third party cover for holidays or companies that do third party cover for holidays abroad as stand alone products. I need cover for EU countries only. Any help will be highly appreciated!
Thanks,
Bonita

If it is just third party liability cover, ask your Home Contents Insurers whether they cover this already. Some do cover this. They obviously won't cover anything related to the dog, but if they bit someone, they may cover that.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

Sorry, forgot to mention: I already checked with the home contents insurance. They do cover the dogs, but again only within the UK. :-(

Have you looked at your own travel insurance?

I would've thought that the personal liability section of most travel policies would cover your personal liability for injury or damage.

Post office policy for example seems to exclude liability arising through ownership or use of animals, except domestic animals.

Have you asked your travel insurers?
