Hi All,
I want to open a Halifax reward account in about a months time and i wondered if anyone knows if the £100 opening offer will come back on....and if so when?
I know obviously no one can see into the future but wondered if this is a regular offer...say 2 months on 2 months off etc??

Well they may offer it again in the future but as to when your guess would be as good as anyones.
When the promotion is not running you may find that the branch can still offer "in house" incentives to switch, generally £50.
If I was you though I would refrain from opening a new current account as the £100 offer was only available if you had no banking relationship with them. If you had a reward account, even if it was not your main account, then you may struggle to then get the £100 incentive should it return.0 -
yeah that's why i was trying to hold out....thought it was for 'brand new customers only'!!
I have to wait until the end of Aug as am in the final stages of buying a house and don't want anything to disrupt that and the mortgage offer (been advised opening any type of account is a no no!) and i only want it for my bills account anyway.
Once I am all completed, if the offer is not back on I will pop in to a branch and find out if they can offer an incentive...thank you for pointing this out as i was not aware this was ever done!!2019 Totals: Savings: £929.53 / Mortgage OP - £746.32
