Microfilter query

I have recently taken the plunge and signed up for talktalk broadband. Their offer includes two free microfilters. I have 4 phone sockets in the house only one of which I will be using for the broadband connection. Do I need to order another two microfilters from them so that I have one for each socket, or is it sufficient if I attach one of the free provided microfilters to the socket that I am using?

You will need microfilters for each socket, otherwise your broadband will not work.

Well the broadband will work, the phone's most likely won't. eBay usually have cheap Microfilters.

These filters are cheap. Check the postage though.

You need a filter wherever a phone or other analogue device is plugged in.

Are all sockets in the house independant? or do some feed as extensions off one of the others?
If they are independant then you will need an extra two...... I have two spare BT microfilters that you can have if you need them FOC as I bought a new adsl faceplate for my BT point as I didnt like the filters hanging . Just Pm me, otherwise if some are extensions then you might not need extra ones!
