Child tax credit query

quick query. (for a friend - honestly not for me!!)..if you are having a benefits check with the Citizens Advice bureau and tell them you are falsely claiming for child tax credits (by lying about what your husband earns), can the person you are speaking to report you or do they treat what you say in confidence etc....??

i would assume its a grey area and its at the persons personal discression as to if they do or do not report you.No One I Think Is In My Tree.:cool:0
