good cleansing wipes

Options
Hi all,

Going on holiday shortly and were going long distance, i find my face gets dirty and dry on the plane can anyone suggest good cleansing wipes that i can try? Also would be looking to use them to take makeup off whilst i am away ... I do plan on using my liz earle cleanser but i probably wont use it every night ( cause knowing me i will forget)

I use johnsons dreamy skin night wipes - they do get makeup off, and it leaves a light moisturesey/sheeny feel to your skin, so would feel really nice on the plane i'd imagine.

Just had a look and it says it will get waterproof mascara off too, and has moonflower aroma to calm your senses - lovely!

I use Asda eco baby wipes, really gentle as they are more natural than most, so they don't irritate my skin. £1.67 for 72.

I like lacura at aldi. I think they're 89p or something ridiculous.

I also have started using baby wipes as a way to remove make up, they really are very effective. I always think to myself if they have been designed to be used on a baby's very delicate skin they must be fine to use on my face and eyes! The supermarket's own brand ones are really cheap as well.

£3.50 for what are essentially baby wipes with a splodge of perfume added? Wow!
  • The ASDA face wipes for sensitive skin (green coloured packet) are really good. I think they are £1 for 40 wipes?

After using everything which was on offer, I now stick to Nivea or Johnsons, as find both gentle on my dry skin.

Have to admit i do use johnsons babywipes on my face and they are ok ... Was really looking for something a bit fresher though ... Are there such a thing as wipes with a bit of roughness not grit but something to ensure that the dirt is away ? Maybe also something with cucumber or something else fresh ?

Will have a wee try at getting some at the weekend

I have just discovered Huggies baby wipes with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E (They also have a few other options such as Shea Butter or Fragrant Free) They are on special offer at ASDA for £1 (64 in a pack) and they smell and feel lovely on skin and the Aloe Vera is very cooling and calming. The Aloe Vera will be good for your skin if your travelling somewhere hot and get sunburnt as well.

I just buy baby wipes generally as they cheap and use them on other things such as the dogs eyes (Fragrance Free ones) and for cleaning surfaces etc as they so cheap.

You be much better splashing out on a good night/daycream if you want your skin to be moisturised. A wipe doesn't let the moisture sink into your skin like a cream does.

Thats deff another thing i badly need to get sorted tbh ... I've used so many moisturizers and only ever had one i loved which was chanel hydramax ... But then they changed the formula and the new stuff isnt as good

I have very dehydrated skin so badly need a hydrating moisturizer ... One where my face can just drink in the moisture

I use liz earle cleanse and polish then decleor neroli oil and currently i'm working my way through clinique's dramatically different moisturizer ... It doesnt make my skin dramatically different at all ... So i do need to find a good one sigh
