Child maintanance

Hi. I was just curious as to what i was told yesterday by a friend. I currently pay csa monthly from my wage to my partners mum. anyway yesterday my friend told me that she is getting married next month and that i then wont be paying csa? personaly i cant see that this is right. i was wandering if anybody new more info about this??? thankyou for any replies :)

    why are you paying CSA to your partners Mum? Did you have a kid with her then move on to the daughter?!

    But that aside, if the mother of your child gets married, it makes no difference to your maintenance payments.

    The only maintenance that would cease on remarriage is spousal maintenance.

    The child's mother's situation doesn't impact your maintenance. Even if the mother won the Euromillions you'd still be due to pay.

    The only way the mother marrying could stop maintenance being due would be if her new husband went on to adopt the child.
