Cardiff Pinnacle/Blackhorse

Hi everyone,
I'm back with another question and would be very appreciative if someone could help. I took a loan out back in 2004 from Black Horse. I also took out PPI (after being told I had to in order to secure the loan) at the same time. I submitted a complaint to Lloyds (Black Horse) about his and got this response:
'I have investigated this further for you and can confirm that this policy would have been sold by Cardiff Pinnacle Insurance. Therefore your PPI Complaint would need to be sent to Cardiff Pinnacle Insurance.
Blackhorse did not commence the selling of these policies until 14th January 2005.'
Are they right in saying I should now approach this Cardiff Pinnacle company? Does anyone else have experience with this?
Many thanks once again (the wisdom on this board has allowed me to win a claim from Lloyds already!)
K.

Hi Kittycash
In the same situation
First of all write to Cardiff Pinnacle detailing your complaint.
When you get the reply which will be a load of nonsense, go straight to the Financial Ombudsman, as I did
Best of luck
