Butti's Journey: A matter of loaf and death

Oh sh*t Butti! That is scary! I hope you are ok, that kinda stuff can shake you more than you realise. Take care!
Reading your diary hits it home to me just how much I was running around doing far too much stuff and why all my friends were trying to get me to do less... I think I thought the faster I did everything the faster I could pay that bl**dy debt off. Instead I just went a wee bit mad and got a lot exhausted!
You are doing so much... try and find time just to laze about in your onesie (I'm so cool I don't even know how you spell it :rotfl:) watching cr*p movies! (Oh, and for the record, I probably still do too much and may still be a wee bit mad, but now my friend's just roll their eyes at me with an "on your head be it" kinda look, so beware.)

Well Nic, You'll be glad to know that after I went and collected a key from someone yesterday I did nothing...well a bit of tidying up, but that's all. Sat IN my bed (as it was SOOO cold) and watched a couple of films.
Today has been manic at work. Year end not quite headless chicken mode :eek::eek:. Very very pressurised at the moment. Have four houses starting this week and a load to line up for next year.
But no pub quiz tonight so just going to send photo's to myself ready to gumtree more stuff tomorrow and relax a bit. This week is going to be bad at work as it is year end and a four day week but we shall get through it.
Home on Friday or Saturday and then relaxation clearing out the garage :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Drive carefully if you are heading home in the next few days. Apparently NE England/SE Scotland are due some bad weather. Well the good news is I've spent very little on food this week. Lots of cooking, lots of sandwiches made and lunch out on Monday bought for me by my boss.
The bad news?
The exhaust sounds like Demis Roussos (cultural reference for the oldies*)
Trip to an exhaust place tomorrow methinks...research tonight on the price I paid last time.

I'm now singing Forever and ever... doesn't sound bad but a bit unusual for an exhaust? My dad was a Nana fan too - a man of dubious taste but he also liked Karen Carpenter and she had a lovely voice... hope the exhaust doesn't prove too pricey.Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Well lets not count our chickens. Lets take some photo's of the exhaust tomorrow am, and lets take our whole exhaust gaurantee along and if they don't play ball lets not argue, lets just take the evidence to the county's MOT centre and see what they think.

Well...I did all the above but it wasn't necessary. The new exhaust and a cront tyre cost me £78. Result.
The rest of the day has been a hard slog trying to get leases out and being thwarted. I've been at work for 12 hours today and she doesn't seem to understand I can be doing monitoring forms or getting the job signed off. I can't be doing both.
Made it to the pub at 9.30 straight from work and that was interesting. Last week the pub landlord wanted to go out drinking with me, this week he virtually ignored me. Last week his girlfriend wasn't in the pub, this week she was. Strange that eh? Wonder if there's a connection?Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Well that was a nice surprise.
Got home after a particularly gruelling week to find a cheque for a months council tax.
