Or go to the loo at any time during the turn.

Oooooooh yes.....I remember the compere one night accusing a couple of going off for a shag in the break. The man's comedy gold reply "That's my daughter". Ouch!

Off up north today. Wonder when I should tell my father?

:j:j:j Well I have paid £240.49 off my B*stard HSBC card

Coincidently, you won't believe this BUT that was the precise amount outstanding on said card. Resisting the urge to go up to the exec lounge and put a deposit down on the desk.

    Tempting..

Thanks Beanie and Knit Witch .

Work haven't paid me mileage this month (they are in a touch of disarray so I count my blessings I got paid at all!!)

So will do the budget. Take out money for trip to Germany going in about three weeks, take out money for hotel and flight to Berlin to see Peter Gabriel at the end of May. Given the above there will probably be my emergency 2p and a piece of string left.

On the flip side I will probably therefore hit my NSDs if I focus. First one today and I'd ran out of knickers :rotfl: so had to wash some this morning and put them on the radiator rather than take the purchase option.

Hopefully be able to throw a large wad of dosh at debts next month. Will update in a couple of days. Pleased to get rid of that Bl**dy card.

Have a 'nice' reply to plan to Capital One tonight:T. They keep telling me they can improve my credit rating with one of their 35% APR cards :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Think I'll correct them and then politely ask them to go away. or maybe not so politely.

Right better go and plan my food for the month.

So am I Beanie. I was crestfallen when I went back and I couldn't find it. On the plus side it did mean I was going to have to visit Scotlandia in December :D. The people in the pubs down here are very very good to me.

    So what's happened this week.
Am trying to shake off the feeling that I am crap because I gave the wrong figure to the boss for audit . Need to use the figure worked out that matches the tenancy agreement, not the one we started with. Do find it hard to forgive my mistakes - don't think I'm alone in this (This is the point at which you all need to jump in!)

So other than cocking up figures, and currently being surrounded by people in the library who need a good scrub (but who am I to comment - been there, done that, got the extremely smelly t-shirt - that's the thing with depression and low self esteem, it's hard to tell.) things have not been too bad

Went home last weekend and my dad 'cooked' for me. I'm sure you're anticipating me here. That meant I had two sandwiches and ice-cream. See there's a flaw in this logic somewhere but I'm not quite sure where.

Social life has been busy. I am planning the spending of money and counteracting the social life with the copious use of cheap recipes. I went shopping, spent £11 supplementing the fridge/freezer and now have enough food I think for about 25 days - which handily takes me up to my trip to Germany. That falls JUST before pay day which is not great .

Went to a comedy night a week gone Thursday and the compere asked me what I was doing at the weekend. "Going home" I said (which as I'd just told them I lived 10 miles away rather confused them!!) Explained where home was and then he asked me who I was going to see at home and THEN what the best quality about my dad was. Thus followed 2 minutes silence followed by the answer "Sarcasm" :rotfl:
    Yes I can do comedy.

Just time to tell you what I learnt on my beer tasting night on Thursday. That lime they put in the top of your lager bottle.
Why do they put it in?
    To keep the flies out!!!:rotfl:
