I was going to give it a catchy title like "We're all doomed" but my supervisor didn't think that was a statement that could be supported by the research (not at this stage at least).

We're always about to be wiped out by something. Until something else comes along and that imminent doom is replaced by some other imminent doom.

Hasn't that sort of thing been banned by UN convention? Especially [STRIKE]music[/STRIKE] noise featuring One Direction?

I still check over my shoulder to see if I am about to be run over by a giant Dougal  (Apologies - Cultural reference lost on our younger readers).
Haven't done everything I want to do today but not doing badly.
Debts not looking bad :T Blood pressure looking good

So to the reverse snowballing * exercise

    Debts
    Then APR Now
    Dad 7000 0
    Friend 280 0
    CDL 10000 7 8617
    HSBC 4400 19 4400
    Halifax 1430 14 1430
    Virgin 3000 0/32 2662
    M&S 1188 6.5 1188
    O/D 1800 18 1800
    29098 20097

So hopefully you all know this. I should pay off the O/D and HSBC first. But we all agreed paying my dad off was a good idea for a quiet life and paying my friend off was my priority. Today I've also paid in the council tax refund and put that payment straight on to the Virgin card (this is the one that is 0% but jumps to 32% in May).

So what do I have coming in next?
A loyalty payment from my gas and electric supplier which should be around £200 which will also be going to the Virgin card.

The company owe me £708 for my removal expenses. That will be coming off the HSBC balance.

I also have an unallocated £500 from the balance of the mortgage which is going into a pot called 'rebuilding the car'. The garage are going to wire brush and coat the underside of the car next week. Slightly terrified that they will wire brush the sump and the engine will fall out!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Future payments
I'm hoping - we shall assess how I manage based on this month, to pay off about £800 a month which should be doable.

    HSBC 18% £303
    Virgin 0/32% £230
    Halifax 14% £25
    CDL 7% £212
    M&S 6.5% £30

May pay just above minimum on the smaller amounts so that 'minimum payment' disappears off my credit report entirely.

Work going well. Being sent out to negotiate "I have confidence in you" says my boss. I have to resist the temptation to shout "You fool".

Right the aim for the weekend is
    Clear some boxes

Hopefully by the end of this weekend I should be able to see my feet when I am standing in my bedroom.

Right off to practice with the sign language girlies :D

Don't you have a Yaris? If that happens just strap in an old hairdryer and you'll get sparkling performance from it. Only downside is a larger than normal exhaust. See local charva for details...

You are very cheeky Mr Z. My boobs are perfectly proportioned and in the right place!!!! I have pm' d you so message me if you haven't got a message.

Looks like an NSD today....washed the car myself so I could achieve it. Good night out last night which appears to have cost me £7 - bit of a result. Didn't get to bed till 3am so have to have an early night tonight.

Also cleared 4 boxes (you listening Z?) so I can see the floor.

Right bags to make. Card to send for Bruv's birthday.

    What a day!!
Went to open a rewards saving account. My head is spinning as a result!

I tried to take out £500 to open the account. Over my daily limit. Took out £300. Go to Post Office. Had to write a cheque as the minimum deposit was £500. Then they weren't too happy with my ID as the addresses don't match (yes...you remember that house sale thing!!!) so I had to write another cheque for £200.

Got back to the bank and had to remember to put £300 back in to the current accou.t ready for the cheque. May still have money to move but need some statements and a clear head first. Bloody money laundering!!!!

Definately NOT an NSD today. BUT did have on my list to buy a pair of black boots and have found a lovely pair with furry insides which will be great for northern expeditions. Now to find a situation I can use them in :D

Only thing left on my list now is Colin Firth in that DVD.......oh and a house.......and a car with a solid base.
    Not much then!

    p.s. Boots reduced of course!

A couple of bags of cement will stiffen up your base.

    Does that mean they're tight?

Wrestling and wheelying Colin Firth? Is that a euphemism for something?
