I have found out today that provided I sell my house within 3 years of living in it I don't pay capital gains tax so that is worth knowing.

Right...currently playing a game of chicken with myself.

Work quite stressful at the mo, but just trying to work out whether to cover other people's backs. Have managed to avoid getting stitched up by the owner I don't trust as far as I could throw him. Seems one of our funding partners has not been so careful. Shall see what I can do tomorrow.

Am quite angry at the attitude of some people at 'how pathetic this storm is ' when their children are nice and safe and healthy and other peoples children have been wiped out by a big tree.
It doesn't matter what the size of the storm is - just the impact. If you fall off a ladder and die, it's the same impact as having a house fall on you and kill you.
