Any help for SIL with cancer?

Hello,

Can anybody advise me about a situation for my Sister and her partner please? My Sister In Law (Sister's partner) has just been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer :(
They both work full time (SIL often working up to 80 hours a week) Obviously she is going to need time off now, can anybody advise me if they are entitled to any benefits please?
They live in rented property and have no critical illness insurance.

Many Thanks.

Yes, absolutely the best advice is to take this to Macmillan Benefits Helpline. They really are clued up in giving you the best information. As many will tell you, cancer itself is not a trigger for benefits; it is how the condition affects you. As a cancer sufferer myself having to sell my house to survive, I do sympathise.
