Amsterdam Hotel with Car Park?

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hotel not too far from the centre of Amsterdam? I've just realised that it's not too far to drive there from Calais and we'd rather drive than fly.

and the mad cyclist?
most of the hotels in central Amsterdam do not have parking, you could go more out the othe business district up by the RAI and you will find hotels there with parkign, such as the holiday inn, I stayed at the Okura and it has parking but I think it's very pricy (I was on business)
your other option is to rent a house boat from places like http://www.houseboathotel.nl or http://www.amsterdamhouse.com and see if they have parking facilities, it will be on the road but I think some of them have designated parking spaces

Thanks for those suggestions but we really did want a hotel. I hadn't realised how few hotels in or near the center had car parks.
So, a revised question ... Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hotel in Amsterdam that has a car park and that has good tram links to the centre?
There! Thanks in advance.:smileyhea "here, hare, here" :smileyhea0 -
I've stayed at the Holiday Inn in Amsterdam close to the Rai, which has a metro stop to the centre of town (takes about 20 mins though). This is just off the motorway. A rail station is also close by if you want a train to somewhere else in Holland.0

This hotel is lovely and I had a standard room which was still huge and comfortable.
It says on the website 'parking nearby' but it really is near by as it is an underground car park outside the hotel. I was most confused when I saw a car 'disappear' from afar, as it's kind of a lift car park, where the car is lowered underground.****************************0
