  • How long have you been sending in sick notes? No one on IB should still be sending in notes, unless you are appealing a decision?

I have been sending them in for about 2yrs now I never used to have to untill I started a job but found I couldn't do it because of my illness so I had a rapid reclaim.

Is it Incapacity Benefit that you are claiming? You mention SDA in other posts?

Regarding getting a copy if needed then yes you can. I once needed this (as it happens I didn't in the end) so just phone the surgery and ask for a copy if it's confirmed that the original has gone missing, there was no mention of cost.
