New Cordless Phones

I need to buy some new cordless phones because the ones I've had for only 2 years are dying! Can anyone suggest some good/cheap ones. Was looking for at least 2 to 3 in a set. Thanks.

Is it battery life away from the charger causing your problems? Even some of the more unusually shaped battery packs can be replaced...

I have to agree with basill. 2 years life for nicad or nimh batteries on almost contant charge is about all that can be expected.

I'd try replacing them first - check for the type you need on Ebay.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Mark and Spencer got cordless for just £5 if you don't bother to check your existing battery
