European Breakdown for 22 year old Camper van

Can anyone recommend a service to cover our old VW Camper when we head round France for three weeks?

Those I've found so far only cover newer vehicles.

Hi, give your local insurance brokers a call - they will have access to a policy called "Broker Assist" which is UK and European breakdown cover rolled into one - over an annual policy. There is NO age limit on the vehicle that you can cover with this policy - please be aware that it covers the vehicle though not the driver so if you drive different vehicles this policy probably isn't for you, but for most people it would probably work well

It is fullfilled by the RAC in the UK and in Europe by local garages I think.

I have a 16 year old car and had similar issues finding cover - no one wants to cover an older vehicle! I already had UK breakdown cover, but with this policy I actually get better cover in the UK (homestart etc) and also the additional European cover for a LOWER price!! I paid £63 for the years policy.

If your broker doesn't offer the policy, pm me and I will give you the name & number of the broker I used - as they can set this policy up over the phone for you.
