Easy to change Upvc window handles?

The locking handle mechanisms on a couple of my upvc windows no longer work and am thinking of changing the handles to proper key locking ones.

The poor design from a security point of view concerns me -its a grub screw thats meant to stop the handle being pulled up have worn their threads and no longer 'lock' the handle in place.
Can anyone advise on the degree of difficulty on DIY changing to better quality handles,or is this really a proper fitters job..?

If they are a standard design of handle, they should be quite easy to replace. If you're lucky, the handles are just held on with 2 screws (one may be hidden behind a small blanking plate).
