I have £20,000 in the bank and earn £26,000 after tax and like 'iolanthe07' says, few obligations. I WON'T fall behind.

Why would you need a £10k loan if you have £20k in the bank and earn so much (especially for a 19 year old)?

You'll just be throwing money away on interest payments.
  • I have to agree with the above. Borrow the money from your savings and if you pay yourself back plus the interest you would have paid tesco's you'll be much better off.

    Dudes.... You can't buy a £30k car with £20k...

I can't think what it could sensibly be for, not a deposit on a house.

£20k is a lot to have saved at 19yrs of age on a £24k Salary.

Alarm bells are ringing. OP - we hope you have thought this through properly.

OMG. They are willing to loan a 19 year old £10k and the OP does not know what a credit agreement is. Alarm bells should be ringing somewhere.

As a 23 year old I do think that being 18 is far too young to obtain credit... Especially if at 19 you can get a £10K loan!!

I really hope the OP knows what they are getting themselves into otherwise he could be in deep poop in a few years time (like me!) xxx

Well its certainly unusual to have £20k in the bank you aren't using for anything and then want to borrow £10k and pay a lot of interest.

Its also unusual for people of your age to have that amount on money in the bank - doesn't mean its not true, but its certainly not the norm.

  • Oh please, it's soooo obviously a wind up.

We're all obviously supposed to go 'ooh, £10,000 at 19, that's so terrible'.

The OP must be sad, lonely or at a complete loose end....or all three.

The £20K could easily be from a legacy. My gran left me an old desk.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
