Scratched composite shower tray

HI everyone. Have just bought a secondhand composite shower tray and scratched it trying to remove the silicone before re-installing. 
Can anyone suggest ways of polishing out the scratches please?:T

You can get scratch repair kits for sinks ands baths, they work on all sorts of materials. About £20 so quite expensive.
Dunno of any other way sorry.0 -
Will the replacement silicone cover the scratches?0
