EU students and student loan with previous study!

I don't know if this is the right section but I really need your help, and I'm sorry if I get wrong!

I'm an italian student and I want apply for a student loan in UK, but in October 2010 I was for a month in the university for a BA(in Italy) but I dropped out the course and in September 2011 I was in another course but for personal reasons after a month I decided to apply in an university in the UK.
Now I'm worried that I can't have a student loan because of the previous study, but how student loans company could see if I have attended other courses in my country?
What I could do about my situation?

Thank you for any response!

Will not matter, as it's not classed as previous due to being overseas. The only time it could affect entitlement is if you received a qualification.

Thanks for this response! I checked in internet and a lot of sites say that I can't have my loan or, if I get it, it will be reduced of two years :(. If I don't write about my previous study in my application what could happen?

You need to ignore the other sites on this. The regulations only count overseas qualifications, not previous study. Apply as normal, and you'll be fine.
  • hello, i have a similar situation. i sent a letter from my old university telling that i haven't finish my studies there to SFE. and my application is still rejected. now they ask a confirmation letter from my (current or old) university telling that my previous study was below level 4 standart, or the UK equivalent. i don't even know what that means and i have no idea what to do. a little help please :)

Level 4 standard is Level 4 on the National Qualifications Framework, which is equivalent to first year university standard in the UK.
