Why have people strayed on to whether they like timeshare or not? This has nothing to do with the post by the OP.

Timeshare can of course be a great thing for some. The problem isn't whether Timeshare is good or bad but the methods used to enrol people onto schemes.

Timeshare bought from the comfort of your own home after a great deal of thought and investigation is perfectly ok. However buying ANYTHING of value after being approached by someone whether on a beach walk or in your own home is a definite no-no.

By all means investigate the possibilities if something strikes your fancy but never sign anything the same day or in the presence of a Salesman you barely know. When I say never I mean never.
