Hi!
Buying my 1st home..
The property is around 30 yrs old,so, I am suggested HBR is enough.

what are the important points to look at..can we request any specific points to be investigated in this survey,if yes..what should they be...?
Thanks for help..

well, you viewed the house, did anything look damp, bowed, cracked?
They will not comment on gas CH or electricals beyond 'get someone to look at them' so you may need to budget for that.0 -
A HBR is a standard report which includes a list of essentials, which the surveyor will work through.
If you want any specific areas looked at in greater detail, or specific questions answered (eg "I'm thinking of knocking down this wall - is it structural?") you are likely to have to pay extra.
But yes, of course you can "request any specific points to be investigated in this survey" if you are willing to pay.0
