Can I use this stain in my paint sprayer?

I have a Draper paint sprayer which I've not used yet and some Ronseal fence stain. The sprayer says its not suitable for oil paints and the stain says it contains waxes.
Before I attempt to use the stain in the sprayer does anyone know if it will work or will it break the sprayer?
Help much appreciated.

It will probably clog the sprayer and not work effectively.
Ronseal make sprayable decking and fence treatments. I think they are less viscous and water based rather than solvent based which makes them suitable for a simple sprayer.
Either buy some of that or use a brush with what you have.
Solvent based treatments are usually smellier and harder to apply but they are more effective.0 -
Thanks, turns out there is a test you can do before loading it and the stain failed the test and we used a brush.0
