Anyone used Richardson & Starling in Glasgow for damproofing/woodrot etc

Hi

Has anyone used Richardson & Starling for surveys on damp and/or used them to resolve damp problems?

If so were they any good?

They seem reputable online they have GPI insurance, are members of the property care association etc.

Thanks

No personal experience, but my friend used them for woodworm treatment and was happy with their work.

They have a decent reputation, but are one of the 'big companies' in this area

I know a local guy in Ayrshire who can ealily beat the pants off a large company quote as he is a small firm and doesn't advertise 'big'

One of the large ones quoted one of my landlords for some damp work (£600) the chap I know (registered and insured) quoted between £300 and £350 for exactly the same job

Look around for smaller (qualified) companies
    baldly going on...
