Hi all,
I just applied for the Barclaycard 'Initial' card and after clicking submit I was shown this on the 'decision' page
http://d.pr/i/tThv
It doesn't tell me whether i've been accepted or rejected but rather just tells me they work closely with Apply With Confidence and that I should check out their products..
Any Ideas?

You're right in that it doesn't show a decision, but from what they are suggesting "i.e. look elsewhere for your credit solutions" I'd say thats a decline unfortunately

That's what I feared, I found it strange not to get a direct response from Barclays though

Wait and see, you never know if a nice surprise might land on your doormat. Just don't be too disappointed if it doesn't :-)0

With Barclaycard, even an accept could be a decline
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
I didn't get an instant response either! Then got a letter to say I'd been accepted with a monsterous credit limit!! In the end they took too long so when the card came it was cancelled straight away. I went with Nationwide instead

Was it one of the Barclays Platinum card you applied for?0 -
Does not say, but I would see it as a declineDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I had this message a few months back after a decline. The decline bit is missing off this though.0

Yeah Barclays Platinum for the BT offer.
Well might not be monsterous to you, but was to me - £12,000. Seeing as on my other cards my highest CL is £4k! Anyway, didnt need to card or the credit so it's gone now!0
