Will they stop my DLA if I get a job?

I'm on an indefinite award for Asperger's/Dyspraxia... Just wondering if getting a job (mainly administration) will affect this...

it wont, but make sure that what you will be doing soesnt contradict what you say are your care/mobility needs as everyone will be reassessed when PIP xomes in

What? If the OP is capable of employment that may contradict the rational for his DLA award, then his DLA award SHOULD be re-assessed. What you are suggesting is tantamount to fraud!

    not necessarily.
i get DLA and am unable to prepare a meal safely bu muself. yet i make a meal for my father in law .... but he supervises me. i can loft a pan physicallt... he cannot.
he can see where im putting it ... i cannot.

but unless i have the total picture it would seem that i am doing something for someone else that i say i cant do for myself.

A good try, but that's not what you actually said. You suggested avoiding certain employment, not due to capability issues, but in case it may effect his entitlement to DLA.

you should go on the stage if youre such an expert mind reader that you knew what i meant better than i did lol

while i do not feel the need to explain myself to you, i have already told you what i meant.
just because you didnt accept the explanation, makes no difference.
