How do I find how much my shares are worth?

I have some shares and am trying to see how much they are worth today? I have "number of shares of 50p" 348 shares with Carillion.
I did find this,
http://investing.thisismoney.co.uk/quote/CLLN
But it makes no sense to me? Looks like Carillion shares are getting less and less every month though.
Any help appreciated.

50p is just nominal value and have nothing to do with real value. It now worth 238.10p, therefore, your shares are now worth £828.58. Well, if you do not believe it will not go up again, you can always sell them.
Cheers
