I got 5 jars of Nescafe (£35) today and 7 other low value single items (1 onion, 1 potato, 1 mushroom, 1 lemon, 1 value noodles, 1 banana, 1 carrot - total less than £1) for the price check requirements in a single transaction and got 5 x 10p fuel vouchers from the till. I should receive a £10 price check coupon tomorrow - so the 5 Nescafe jars cost me £25. Filled up my car with 55 litres fuel plus a 20 ltr jerry can and saved £37.50.

1.5 kg of free coffee and £12.50 off my fuel bill. Pure Profit!

    Hi,

I too have read all posts on every thread but cant get a list sorted. Lack of sleep I suppose.

I can make up 7 items for normal grocery no problem, but I usually put 2 times £20 petrol per month. Beans are my favourite but considering how much fuel I add per month, is this promotion worth it for me? I can put £40 worth of petrol altogether but prefer 2 separate. Can anyone tell me how I should go about this please?

Tesco must be laughing all the way to to the bank if some of the comments on the MSE Facebook page are anything to go by.

One happy Tesco [STRIKE]sheep[/STRIKE] customer puts in about £20 of fuel at a time and thinks she'll get almost £4.00 of 'free petrol' with a single 10p off coupon.

I'm no mathematician but reckon £20 will get about 15 litres of petrol, so £1.50 off at the till.

Last week the Robinson's was £2.50 a bottle & now they're charging £7.00 for 2 so she's paid £2.00 more for the squash than last week.

MSE haven't helped by putting the wrong information on the website stating Asda to be the cheapest at £5.60 when it's been plastered all over the forums (which MSE must have looked at as they've thanked some of the posts) that Sainsbury's have it on offer for £2.00 a bottle.

it's worth taken note that the Robinson's is not on sainsbury's website so will not compare and will not produce jtd voucher.

I agree the comparison table is a joke.
Not always possible to buy identical items so we've worked out how much the same quantity would cost.
Let's take the Fairy washing powder as another example: £20.00 @ Sainsbury's, £14.00 @ Tesco N/A @ Asda! so where exactly are they getting their price of £17.00 from?

The coffee as well is cheaper @ sainsbury's yet they have chosen not to submit this.

The Andrex toilet roll isn't even the aloe, shea, quilted. They are using the offer at Morrisons.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

You're right, the MSE table is confusing.

It might also help to point out the different vouchers you get from an online as opposed to in store shop.

    Just to clarify:

If you do an ONLINE order you will get the blue/red glossy vouchers which are valid until 15th August (the last day of the offer). I can verify this as I have just had my order delivered. A maximum of five per order.

If you do an IN STORE shop it seems you will get standard white till splits for each qualifying deal and the expiry date is 14 days from the in store visit.
