I put in £20 petrol twice a month and a interested in mainly beans but also mayonnaise. Is this promotion any good for me? How can I utilise it to the best possible way?Pink is so not my colour :undecided0

I am a great T point collector, but never really bothered with JTD, until this promotion because we do use quite a lot of fuel.
I promise I have been reading & reading all the threads over the last few days to try and grasp this!!
I usually use about £100 fuel per month.
We drink coffee-so it will be used, and I need to stock up on beans.
So if I do one shop and buy 4 packs of beans @ £2.50 each and make up the rest of the basket with 5 other different cheap items that I will use. I will get one 10p voucher and JTD on the beans?
Then I buy 4 jars of 300g Nescafe at 4 x £7.00, and again complete the shop with an onion, a banana etc, I'll get 4 X10p coupons for fuel, then JTD on that shop.
Then can I use all 5 coupons together to fill up the tank? When do the coupons expire?
Sorry......please don't shoot me down I am getting there...and hope to grap it before the promotion ends..........
Thank you :beer::j0 -
Can someone please confirm something for me as I have been away and have not followed the threads - if I do an online shop for 5 x coffee, will I get 5 x 10p off vouchers?? I have the delivery saver so it would be worth it for me. I am sure I can find something else to add for JTD.
Thanks.0 -
I have read teh MSE article and the Tesco Ts&Cs on this offer but nowhere does it say when the fuel vouchers expire. I know I need to purchase the goods before August 2nd but having received the fuel vouchers when must I use them by? Anyone who has had the vouchers have any idea on this?
Thanks0 -

5 coffee @ Tesco = £35.00
5 coffee @ Sainsbury's = £23.90
= £11.10 difference so you would get the max JTD £10 from Tesco they won't give you anymore than that. (if you are happy to do it this, way then that's fine)
You then need another 7 items in your basket that compare or are cheaper at Sainsbury's.
For example using MS as my guide:Beef stock cubes
10p @ Sainsbury's
10p @ TescoChicken Flavour instant noodles
11p @ Sainsbury's
11p @ TescoNappy bags
12p @ Sainsbury's
12p @ TescoSponge pan cleaners
14p @ Sainsbury's
14p @ TescoPeas
14p @ Sainsbury's
14p @ TescoSparkling water
17p @ Sainsbury's
17p @ TescoLemonade
17p @ Sainsbury's
17p @ Tesco
That would be your 8 items required for Tesco to compare, above is just an example to show you. Be careful with Sainsbury's basic range as it is sometimes more dearer than Tesco value stuff, you don't want this. You want to match Tesco price or cheaper.I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

You are doing fine you have the gist of it.

Lovely, thank you. I'll just use this to stock up.
Does anyone know how long the voucher is valid for?
I tried to use 2 x 5p coupons the other day and was told no, they could only take one but I think I will print out the T&C for this one!!0 -
I shopped yesterday and the date on my vouchers are for the 7th.
HTHTake care what you do on the way up, it may come back at you on the way down.

Oh, and I added the Ketchup and Aunt Bessies roasties to my order already, there is £1 off if you buy AB midweek roasties and a a bottle of Heinz ketchup - includes the 4 ketchups for £9 offer,
So 4 x ketchups for £9 less £4 per offer so £5 for 4 big ketchups and 4 packs of roasties (which we will use so not an expense I did not need and 4 x petrol vouchers worth 40p a litre off (saves approx £16-20 in my car). Hope you kept up with that!!0 -
