^^ The Telepeage definitely works for France - we have one.
Not sure you'll find one that exists for both France and Spain, but shout if you do!
The tags are really not cumbersome and are very easy to set up, though, so even if you do have to have one for each country I'm sure it won't be too much of a pain.0 -
Just use a fee free credit card or get a transponder for each country. European tolls are run by private companies so you won't get a pan European one0

I don't think the Spanish tolls are all operated by the same company, so I think you'd need a different one for different regions of Spain.
As mentioned above, unless you're planning to stay a long time, a fee-free card is the best solution. I can get through the toll areas pretty fast with a card, even driving an RHD car without a co-pilot.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
Ok sorry for not updating sooner. I ordered the Sanef one . very easy to do and it arrived the next day . Service . I had to easily activate it and now fingers crossed that it works . Happy Summer everyone.0

I don't get why you'd use one? The 2 french families I've been driven around by don't bother using them - they just use their credit cards (and I don't think it asks for a pin or anything, you just slot it in and out).
It doesn't seem to give any discount on tolls, and charges service fees, so is it literally just a case of you saving 5 seconds at the toll booth?0 -

But that takes all the fun out of watching Mrs Bob the Saver trying to get rid of all her loose small change, any loose change - Euro cents, Rupees, Pence, Ringits etc etc. Oh the fun I have watching the queue behind as it snakes into the distance.,0 -

If your in a right hand drive car on your own, it saves you a whole lot of hassle. First off, it saves you having to get out of your car to accept the ticket once you enter a toll road.
Secondly, it saves you farting around with change once you get to the toll booth, and also, with the Tag, you can use the highlighted express lanes, which are purely for people with a Tag, so at tolls where there can quite often be a queue, its very handy. Extra handy for me as I have CP, so saves me messing around and struggling at the booths.
Don't even need to come to a complete stop, just crawl up to the barrier and BEEP, your away again0 -

Ah that makes sense, obviously their cars were left hand drive.
Though I don't see why you need to mess around with change as you can just put your credit card in the slot and it (in the ones I went through anyway) instantly debits it and opens the barrier.
If using booths is a bit of a hassle for you though then I get why you'd get this.0
