tax credits award help please

Hi
I posted my tax credits decleration form 4 weeks ago and I have not heard anything back from them yet. My payments have remained the same which makes me question if they have dealt with my renewal yet. Can anyone tell me how long they have waited for award notice as every other year it has been much quicker than this. I have tried calling them but was on hold for 25 mins today and gave up, it costs a fortune.
