Nationwide flex account - should I keep it?

About 2 years ago I opened a Nationwide flex account because they gave me a free £10 M & S voucher.
I have never ever put a penny in or used the account, but technically Nationwide thinks it is still open.
I keep thinking I should close it because I don't use it, but are there some future transactions where it might be cheaper to keep it for (say when I am non hols and want to use a cash machine or need foreign currency)?? What do you say, keep it or close it?

While the Nationwide Account is good, there are better out there. However for one thing it is by far the best account to have, for travelling and spending abroad; due to the fact Nationwide does not impsose any extra charges for ATM withdrawals and spending on your Nationwide account."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

Keep it and use as a holiday expenditure account (not meaning savings where you should use an account with better rate of course).MFW 2015 #41 = £20,515/£20,515
