Contract Hire Calculator
Options
Hi All,
I am looking to contract hire a new car. I have looked on the internet (and searched this forum) for spreadsheets that show how the dealers calculate the monthly cost but so far I have only been able to find them for lease agreements.
Would any of you happen to have a spreadsheet that I could plug the figures into for contract hire please? I want to put myself into the strongest negotiation position possible.
Thanks
Andy

If nobody has a spreadsheet then can anyone explain how it works? If I have all the info then I will create the spreadsheet and upload it here for others to benefit from.0

I've never known of a spreadsheet to work this out, as far as I know every car is different due to lots of different circumstances, expected mileage, depreciation, how much the car is, road tax, servicing and tyres included or not, breakdown cover, etc etc. They have to factor all of that in to give you the price. You alsofind that the contract hire is less than a normal pcp for instance as there is no final payment, the car simply goes back to the rental company.
Hope this helps. Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -
The dealers will calculate the cost on how much discount they got off it.
Model/colour thats not selling maybe a big discount.
