The energybook site works like ebay but allows you to post up classified ads for 12 months free of charge - in fact most postings including auctions are free of charge and there is an auto relist. Registration is simple too
The site focuses on energy, wind, solar, petrol, etc. and there are books, wind turbines, solar panels, etc for sale. But there is also a classic car area and an 'other' area where you can list anything - I have seen laptops, boats, and all the ususal ebay stuff.
There are lots of items many of which are cheaper than on ebay - cos the sellers don't need to recoup their ebay costs.
It has paypal facilities, multi currency, shop, etc. In fact it looks good to me without the ebay costs.

All I can say as a seller is..... EBay is where the buyers are at, and where the top dollar sale prices are achieved..... So until that changes, I won't.

:rolleyes:jemetos wrote::eek:So how else do you suggest getting something going? It's free to use so why knock it? I did not hide that it was my site. Lots of people like the site and the more that use it the better it will be.
Anyway - thanks for popping along - perhaps you will pop back another day and post something up? Its worth a try. Things do sell on the site and there are lots of visitors through search enegines and other references.:)0 -
yes i will register for free nowIt is my hobby - I just like energy, the internet and losing money (running the site)!

I haven't found a lot of wind products for example on ebay which seems a shame. My idea is to develop a niche, free, friendly site.
thanks for replying to my post

Can I please just remind people that links to their own sites or their own goods is against the spirit of this Board especially where an interest is not declared.
I'm going to lock the thread and ask that in future all posts of this nature be posted on the referrers Board.
Thank you
