Household Income?

Hi,
Does anyone know if a couple of people in your home are on benefits when making applications for a loan or grant counts as household income or state benefit income?
I imagine that household income would include everyone who is working or generating a working income who lives in the household as what they mean?
Thanks.

Bit confused by your question - sorry.
Could you give a scenario of the members of the household?
Eg Mum receiving ? Dad receiving? Non dependants receiving?
Also what grant/loan are you talking about? different rules for different things!0 -
I am just talking generally if your parents and brothers are on benefits does that count as household income?0
-
if its only you thats applying for the loan, then it is the income of YOUR household. even if you libe with your parents and brother, they arent classed as your household, as you are all financially independant.
urs meant more as a coyples income being household ... as they share finances/financial committments0 -
Who is applying for the loan? Or is it a grant? This all seems a bit vague?
If its a commercial loan from a bank than thats different from a grant (from a charitable organisation or the council) as sometimes being on benefits helps.
From a quick google of your post history, you are on JSA, your brother is on DLA and live with parents.
Answer the questions and you will get help!
D70How about no longer being masochistic?
How about remembering your divinity?
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
How about not equating death with stopping?0 -
