    Thanks Emmaroids,
If anybody has details of cheaper Flash memory SD cards ETC, perhaps they would post info, it seems prices of memorycards etc are coming down at ever increasing speed. :Steve :-)

Actually these cards are £5.88 + shipping on Amazon (Marketplace only). I think that makes total cost £10.38, so about the same The £17.99 cards are Kingston cards, but "ultimate" 120x ones; i.e. their fastest cards.

It seems from your post count that you've been here for some time.
Do you consider this thread by Martin Lewis an advert?

Rightly/wrongly the following gave me a conclusion that it maybe an ad

    OP's first post
OP telling readers what SD cards are used (wouldn't readers already know this if they were interested)
Post on the wrong section (not on the bargain sections)
    Never heard for w2w
w2w domain name is owned by a hosting company not by w2w

It does seem to follow the MO of a spammer, but it's only an ad if it's posted by someone with a vested interest. I see no evidence of that. I agree it's probably not the best place to post as this board is for techie Q&A rather than "bargain of the week" type of new threads. The w2w domain seems legitimate to me and is not owned by a hosting company as far as I can see.

There's nothing wrong with reminding people about the rules if they are broken, you don't have to be a mod to do that. Moderators do not actively read all posts and rely on other board members for rule infractions. In this case lakeuk was wrong and probably should have checked first whether the OP owned the site linked to before accusing him of advertising.
