Does anyone know an insurance company who can insure a car for short term (3 months) as I will be exporting with in that time.
Thanks!

Unlikely I would have thought. Do you have an existing motor policy, if so add it to that and delete it after 3 months.0

There is just one company that will insure for 3 months at a time and they are Sabre Insurance. They only deal through brokers and most sizeable brokers will have an agency with them.If your local one does not have an agency with them try telephoning Taylor Price / Direct Choice of Newmarket.A quick Google will find their phone number.
Best of luck0 -
Best way is to ring for quotes as you would anyway. When they tell you the annual fee you then ask how much they refund if you cancel the cover after 3 months. You will be amazed at the differences: some cheap insures give virtually nothing back. Others (that are not the cheapest annually) will give you almost the equivalent of the 9 months amount back that you are not using.... I did that years ago with an old imported VW beetle to get it UK registered to sell it: After tons of phone calls I ended up with the NFU (National Farmers Union!) insurance. It was a bit of a slow process with them but did the trick. Maybe they still work like that......0

Hi - not surprizingly to get NFU Insurance you haveto be an NFU member and for this they will relieve you of another £45.00.
Best of luck if it's still worth it !0
