It is half price if you go later in the day into the evening.0

You could try negotiating - me and half a dozen friends were there a few weeks ago. One of us went and told the guy on the gate that we were just passing by and only semi-interested in going in - he offered us the 'group' rate which worked out at £7.50 each.0

Half price entry is from 3.30pm and the site is open until 7.30pm.0

I fancied going there. That voucher which is current states that the adult price is £9 discounted to £7.20 but on the official Portmerion website tickets are £10, so the discounted price would work out at £80

Thanks
Just printed the voucher.
I did hear about a public foot path that goes through it?0 -

Do you mean the new Wales Coast Path?: http://www.walescoastpath.gov.uk/plan_your_trip/interactive_map.aspx
It doesn't reach the village, just skirts the edge of the site.
There is another public path somewhere near Castell Deudraeth, which they say goes to the 'beach', not sure which bit of the beach as it's really an estuary with small coves. I've never found this path ... someone else may have ....0 -
Spend the day on black rock beach then at low tide walk down the beach and you can walk straight in !!A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

I must stress to people the dangers of doing this. The 'beach' becomes an estuary at the Portmeirion/Porthmadog end. I have seen many people over the years get stuck on sandbanks and have to be rescued by the lifeboat or the helicopter. The chances of drowning or getting stuck in the quicksand are very high. Of course, if you know the area well and are good at reading the tides then by all means do this, but most people don't have a clue.
It's so bad the RNLI have invested in a special lifeboat: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-west-wales-128028300
